Lavender Friend's
Groups and Committees
- Coffee Group - Meets first week of the month at a nearby coffee shop chosen by the host.
- Breakfast/Lunch Group - Meets the third week of the month at a nearby restaurant chosen by the host.
- Pot Luck Dinners - Social events scheduled for February, April, June, August, and October. Location and date is chosen by the host.
- Dinner Out - Restaurant dinner cheduled for January, March, May, July, and September. Location and date are chosen by the host.
- Rainbow Dog Walkers - Walks once a month weather permitting.
- Birthday Club - Honoring those who are celebrating their birthday.
- Lavender Hearts - our Community Service Committee, is responsible for outreach opportunities within SCLH, the local community and Lavender Friends charitable activities.
- Social/Activities Committee - Responsible for coordinating group social events and activities.
- Executive Board - Consists of the officers and chairpersons of the standing committees.
- Membership Committee - Encourages residents of Lincoln Hills Sun City to become members
- Sunshine Committee - Assists members who have medical, emotional, and physical needs.
- Communications and Public Relations Committee - Is in charge of membership communications, submiting the monthly Compass notice and maintaining the Lavender Friends website.
